Earnings reports released last week caused a drop in stock prices for two environmental companies.
| A mixed earnings report last week hit ADA-ES’ stock price, but prices have rebounded and are up 18% for the year. Even though revenues increased dramatically, EPS remains negative so investors are wise to remain cautious. | Press release |
| A disappointing earnings report, due to a rapid decline in scrap metal prices, dropped Metalico’s stock 25% for the week bringing it to the lowest level in over three years. Profits were down 31% for the quarter, and down 45% from the same quarter last year. The Roen Financial Report considered Metalico overpriced above $2.00/share, but sees it as fair priced at current levels around $1.70/share. | Press release |
